These days acidity is a normal problem. Every second person is suffering from this acidity problem due to stress, having non vegetarian foods, having non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs as medicines, smoking, alcohol etc etc etc.

Acidity is caused by excess production of acid by the gastric glands of the stomach. Our stomach produces gastric acids to aid digestion. But, their corrosive effects are neutralized by the production of natural bicarbonate and prostaglandins secreted in the mucous lining. When the production of these chemicals is interrupted then it leads to damaged stomach lining which causes acidity. Due to acidity our body feels Burning of the stomach & throat, restlessness, nausea, sour taste, constipation etc.

Usually, acidity is treated with the help of antacids which contain either magnesium or calcium or aluminum containing compounds. These antacids neutralize the excess acid in the stomach thus providing relief from the symptoms. But today let’s see something natural to cure it with the help of raw Grains of Rice.

Tulsi: Tulsi leaves help stimulate your stomach to produce mucous and it has anti ulcer properties which reduce the effect of gastric acids.

Clove: Bite a clove so it release the juice and keep that juice in your mouth for 45 seconds or more than swallow it slowly and it will lower your acidity reflux immediately.

Saunf or Aniseed: Simply chew few of aniseed and it will help to reduce the symptoms of acidity or you may boil few seeds in water and after boiling leave it in same water overnight and drink this water during morning whenever you feel uneasy of acidity.

Mint leaves: If you feel the pain and burning associated with acid reflux just chop some mint leaves and put it into a bowl of water and boil it now drink this water after it cools.

Ginger: Just chew a small piece of ginger may be you it pungent in that case boil it in water and drink the decoction or you may crush it now mix it with a piece of jaggery and keep sucking on it and let the juice reach to the stomach slowly.

Amla: You can easily get amla powder in market and start taking it twice a day it will help you to keep acidity at bay.
